We were the only ones there so we got lucky. Didn't try cell service as we use Starlink.

The road leading in has a ton of deep potholes, so you have to take it slow, but plenty of room for our 43' fifth wheel. The creek was very pretty, there were fire pits at each site, but the mosquitoes were horrible! Our reception was fine for remote work.

Great spot by the creek. We were in a tent, not our toy hauler. Some spots require you to be 30 ft off the creek, others have no signage and there were actively used firepits so... Squitos are fierce! It's bear country to bring spray and user proper storage for you food and your smell goods, toothpaste, lotion, deodorant, etc.

If my husband wasn’t a licensed professional with a CDL then we would have been up shits creek without a paddle. There are very limited “spots” and the BML manager checks every Friday to keep track of how long you stay. The limit is 16 I believe. So if you have a small rig, or van this spot is perfect. It’s very close to Yellowstone.

This area really is beautiful. There's a nice creek and lots of shade. However it is crowded! We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon and it's totally packed, so we just pulled to the right side off near the fork in the road. We saw a makeshift fire pit, so we're hoping it was allowed.

There are not many spots here so come early. There is a small creek which brings some bugs but in July it was not bad. The location is great for easy access to Yellowstone.

Correction to listing: this is "Designated Dispersed" and it is a 16 day limit (not 14). Ranger checks on Sunday. There are a couple unnumbered sites up the mountain, however the road past the creek is deeply rutted and I wouldn't take my big rig up there. Great access to West entrance of park. Located right beside a crowded KOA. Note that road is barely wide enough for 2 cars to squeeze past each other. If you encounter an RV someone will have to back up.

Follow the “main” dirt road (mostly decent, a few large potholes) to the creek. Once you are at the creek, pick a site. Don’t go up the hill to the right or left if you are a big rig or towing. Narrow, severely rutted road with no way to turn around for a long time. We did see some tents up there though. There are “4” sites, 2 of which will handle larger rigs; however, we found more than 4 camping set ups because the sites were quite large and people were willing to share as folks came in later in the day looking for a place to stay. This is especially true if you have a tent or small unit like a camper can. Take note: sites are not very level. The best part, it was so close to Yellowstone yet seemed so far away from the crowds. Best of both worlds.

Very few bugs lots of wildlife up the mountain with some of the most amazing views you’ll ever see especially all the way to the end of the road next to the camp site!( if you have a 4x4) I guess my only complaint would be it got crowded quickly people without a camp site would set up camp on the road right in front of others. But driving up the mountain road next to the camp we saw all kinds of wildlife elk, deer, coyote, and even a grizzly. Would definitely come back again. I have an iPhone with AT&T but did not have very good service at all my cousin had an android phone with AT&T and he had excellent service we were close to town for anything that we needed excellent camping spot for free
