Overall Rating
This is large campground in the Eldorado National Forest but it is managed by a private company. Campsites were spacious in size with fire ring, picnic table, and a large "bear box." There were vault toilets and water spigots, but no showers. A bike path around part of the reservoir ran through the campground. We enjoyed taking our bikes for a spin.
Apparently many campers took the opportunity to swim in the lake. Next time I'll bring my swimsuit! Another thing I'll bring next time is our Senior All Access Pass. If I had remembered to bring it, our nightly fee would have been $14.00.
