“We enjoyed our stay here and watching the sun set across the lake from our site.”

We stayed at the Wellington Lake East Rec Area campground on the Forest Cove loop. This loop has 50A service and water, no sewer connections. 10 sites on this loop are set up for short term stays, maximum 14 days, where the other loops allow a camper\RV to stay based on a monthly rate. A lot of the long term sites were occupied. The 10 short term sites are clearly marked with yellow tape across the bottom of the power pedestal receptacle covers. All 10 sites are back in and are served by 5 power pedestals numbered 51 to 55. The pedestals are located at every other site. So…half of the sites will have the power pedestal on the wrong side of your RV. Just be aware of this before you choose your site. The 50A receptacles are oriented so that their ground connection is located at the bottom. This made using of our Progressive Dynamics surge protector very difficult. The sites are very deep, maybe 80 – 100 feet, so they can easily accommodate larger rigs. The closest restroom building to the Forest Cove loop had four private restrooms with showers. The restroom building seems to be relatively new and the dump station is located across the parking lot. This restroom facility is located at the entrance to the Eagle Cove loop. The office was not manned when we were camping here so we used the honor box there to pay for our stay. There is at least one other honor box and it is located at the Eagle Cove loop as well. The roads around the lake are all dirt roads in reasonably good shape. Lastly we had 5G T-Mobile service, one bar, sometimes 4G. We enjoyed our stay here and will stay here again if we happen to be in the area.
Millers5 would stay here again
