Weber Memorial Park Campground

We ended up camping here by accident after having no luck finding space at the USFS campgrounds nearby and had I known about it before hand, it would have been my preferred choice anyhow. Will definitely come back.

All sites are primitive, but water spigots are available at the bathrooms scattered around the campground. Camp hosts are super friendly and can be regularly seen cruising around in their golf cart. When we arrived, they made it a point to say that any campsites with an orange cone in them have already been paid for, but anything else was up for grabs. We arrived around 2pm on a Thursday and had 5 spots to choose from but the rest were snatched up shortly after we got set up.

If you need cell service, your best bet is to walk out of the campground and take a left onto the main road. About 100 yards west of the entrance along the road you’ll get 1-2 bars (Verizon)

Really nice reservoir about 3/4 miles East of the campground. Good hiking and kayaking

We were super pleased with this campground. It was very quiet and the camp hosts were incredibly friendly.

We stayed in one of the sites on the east side right by the group area. These sites weren’t on the river and didn’t have much shade in the day, but were very cool and shady in the evening.

We could see Causey from our campsite (and could see our campsite from Causey).

We would definitely stay here again, but I would recommend making a reservation if you wanted one of the more private campsites.
