Weather Rock Campground

We pulled into what is a very unkept campground that looks as if it was probably cute 40 years ago. It appeared to me 95% permanent residents. The office was unmanned during normal work day/hours. You can take a slip and choose a site which is great but the only non occupied sites were rutted out as of 06/2023. The rate was $50 per night. There is a KOA 27 miles on down the road!

Older park, large trees, playground, grass needed mowing. No reservations. First come first served. We had to do the “night check in” with cash in an envelope at 3 pm! Kind of shabby, and overpriced for water and electric. Full hook ups were $50. But convenient to the hi way. We’d stay here again.
