Watts Bridge Campground

(Stayed here 8/21/21): Great little spot that sits at the base of some beautiful mountains. Right off the highway.

Noise of passing cars was the only downer, but that’s a fair trade for the convenience.

Not a very big area but enough space for larger RVs.

Amenities include tables, bathroom and fire pits.

Stopped in for a look see. Small campground with just one camper this morning. Pit toilet had lost its lid and smelled accordingly. Easy access past bridge. Picnic tables, shade, and river access. Close to 93.

Note the entrance is directly at the Southeast end of the bridge. Go straight at the fork to go to the camping area, right is the Small boat ramp in poor condition once it hits the water. On state road 93 about 1 mile south of Cottonwood Landing. 5 miles north of Challis. This is grassy meadow camping. 6 sites with 1 on the river. It does have a boat ramp.
