“Quiet tucked away site along a creek. ”

Found this site after trying quite a few along the way that were all take from early Labor Day traffic. Some cows were hanging out by the entrance, but there is a gate that keeps them out. I really enjoyed the seclusion of this site and the creek alongside. Mosquitos weren’t as bad here as they were closer to the lake. Would definitely stay here again.

“Slightly hidden creek side camp”

Free site, no amenities, somewhat hidden from the wind but not the bugs. We were near no other sites, so it was rather quiet with the exception of the creek running alongside our site. The site is big enough for many vehicles and tents. I had minimal cell service with Verizon. There was a decent amount of rifle shells and toilet paper scattered across the more sensitive creekside areas of the campsite. Hooray. The drive in is somewhat long on a busted up paved/dirt road. No 4wd needed, at least in the summer months.

Would have been five stars if it had a better view.
