The nightly rate was $10 but was told since the pool was closed they would not collect any fees. There are no official spots. We camped parallel to the roan near the creek. Only 1 other rig there. Pretty park.

Fee is apparently collected in person each morning… but we evidently weren’t there late enough on a Sunday. Later we called the park’s executive office (from a number found on freecampsites.net) and found that John Sladich is park director. His number is 406-560-3214. He indicated to pay at the pool office during pool hours.

We stayed here for a quick overnight on our way to Butte. It felt like a safe area but the campground was basically a grass loop with no designated campsites. There was no camp host or anyone overseeing the campsite at all. We went to the pool to ask where to pay and found someone who took our money and gave us a sticker but had very little knowledge about the campsite. Since there was no quiet time the camper next to use ran a loud generator all night 9pm-9am none stop. It was horrible. We got no sleep. We decided against staying a second night.

Great little park with free water and dump near by. Stayed over the 4th of July if you are not into 72 hours of fireworks avoid it during this time, also had free music in the park. Great little stream runs through it

Nice little city park. $10/night, no hookups, but conveniently located in town. Right on a fast moving creek with deer that frequent it.

The camping area is closed. I’m not sure if this is due to Covid-19 but the camping sign was taped off and read No Camping above it.

Washoe Park is a nice city park with a duck pond, swimming pool, baseball stadium. There is a huge gravel parking lot, however, the camping is on the other side of the duck pond in a grassy area. There are picnic tables, shared fire rings and portapots. There isn't a sign to direct you to the camping area from the entrance so we actually didn't see it and parked in the gravel lot. No one said anything to us about it. We even took in a local youth baseball game while we were there. There were deer in the park nightly. It was quiet at night for sleeping. There was some cut through traffic during the day but subsided at night.
