“Fantastic Campground”

Reviewed Jul 19, 2018

Overall Rating

Excellent hosts, nice pull-through sites, small campground make this a great location outside of Pinedale. The pit toilets were spotless. This CG felt very safe and the cell service is excellent. Even though it was right off of the highway it was pretty much silent at night. It was very cool in the evening despite hot sun during the day.

“Easy In/Out, Great Host, Level Site, Great for In-between Destinations, Great Fishing”

Reviewed Jul 09, 2018

Overall Rating

For a quick, clean, easy overnight stay this is a great campground. The hosts were great, informative and friendly. There are 16+ sites, mostly all level and pull throughs. It is in the wide open areas north of Pinedale. Many come here for the float fishing which is superb. There were a few unfriendly bugs and our dog found a bunc... more

“Nice and quiet”

Reviewed Sep 02, 2017

Overall Rating

I liked this spot. I was planning on just a "One Nite stand" but stayed for two. Nice and quiet, had Dump N Fills, water at spigots. with long hoses, not at the dump station. No direct hookups. Good Cell connections, thus the extra day to catch up. Can't see the River, I didn't know it was there until walking up the road a littl... more

“Great Spot for Access to Hiking / Fishing”

Reviewed Jul 19, 2015

Overall Rating

Really enjoyed our stay here along the Green River. We stayed for 2 weeks and many nights we were the only people in the park other than the camp hosts (who were super people BTW). When others did come through they were almost always just stopping for an overnight. We saw osprey fishing the river, pronghorn browsing nearby and had a bu... more

“Quiet, peaceful campground”

Reviewed May 13, 2015

Overall Rating

Huge, level sites. There was no one else here except for us and the camp host! You can hear the Green River but you have to walk a bit in order to see it. Easy access off the highway. And a full Verizon signal! Dry camping only. Not a lot to do in the area, but for a one or two night's stay it's pretty nice.
