It's a wide-open area and usually pretty quiet this time of year. I don't see anything about not being able to use a generator here https://www.nps.gov/neri/planyourvisit/war-ridge-backus-mountain-campground.htm but quiet hours should be respected - 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
