Was here mid-April. Most of the sites are pretty open (few trees), but there are shade structures at the sites. The sites vary greatly in size, as some can fit multiple rings and some just a van, so be careful when you choose your site. The main area is just a parking lot with a picnic table at each camping site space. So you are right next to your neighbors. "Incredible little park with great camping facilities "

Was here in April and the wildflowers were stunning. Walked all the trails, great birding, and went kayaking too. They have a playground, ice cream stand, firewood, beach volleyball, fields, and more for occupying kids. There are also cabins.
