Overall Rating
Small campground with no designated sites, only a handful of places that one could call “sites.” Road in is rough and potholed, sandwiched between stretches that are in decent shape. Very large rigs should avoid this campground.
Campground is somewhat trashy with some campers just leaving some of their stuff after vacating. A local who camps here regularly said this campground is popular on weekends with plenty of partying and beer drinking.
NO CELL SERVICE (I have Verizon).
I give it one star only because it’s free.

Popular area for families to gather for reunion AND they bring all the dogs!
Pit toilets, well water pump, no electric. Forest Service personnel cleaned the pit toilets on Monday to replenish the empty toilet paper holders, camp site area are not level but have been mowed recently.

Campground will not be open for 2021 season according to forest service website. Undergoing improvements. I noted that it was gated a few weeks ago, but just now checked the website (7-09-21)
