Located in the Coconino National Forest, Walnut Canyon is a fantastic location to dry camp just southeast of Flagstaff. An array of forest service roads litter the broader area, affording a campers a number of options. We split our time between two sites, located about 1/4 miles apart. Our first spot was a wide open gravel area where we fit 3 Airstreams and a class A. After 2 of the rigs left, another RV that we didn't know, parked uncomfortably close to us so we ended up moving.
