“No Overnight Parking Signs”

Overall Rating
This Walmart has many “No Overnight Parking” signs in the parking lot. Yet there are many trucks here at 4:30 in the afternoon. There are truck spots, but the signs make this very confusing as to whether or not you can stay. I chose to leave.

Overall Rating
There are not a lot of options to choose from in this area so this place gets busy. We tried a Love’s just west of here and it was marked no loitering…violators will be towed. Then we came upon this spot and were blessed to find it. Yes, it’s noisy, but not as noisy as a rest area. Very convenient because it’s right off the exit.

Parking lot has a designated overnight truck parking, though after the store closes at 11pm the trucks take over the whole parking lot. We parked in the area circled in the image above. Parking lot has a designated overnight truck parking, though after the store closes at 11pm the trucks take over the whole parking lot. We parked in the area circled in the image above. No problems- just your normal trucks coming and going occasionally.
Right next to a marathon gas station too- convinient.
If you don't mind the low continuous hum of generators and the occasional squeal of an 18 wheeler, it is a good overnight stop along this stretch of 70.

Overnight options along this stretch of I-70 are very scarce. This WalMart has a small section of its parking lot blocked off for overnight options, which we are very grateful.
