Guess the rules have changed. We planned to stay here as a stop over but signs everywhere stating no overnight parking towing enforced.

“Grateful Again for Walmart!”

The tentative plan was to stop for the night at a particular rest area off I-10 just west of Jacksonville. I remember it being very pretty where I assumed we would dry camp among the truckers and watch the NCAA basketball tourney. Ah, but the internet had only one bar in this particular rest area, and it was in and out and spotty. After setting up and attempting to watch the Kentucky basketball game we finally gave up, re-packed the Ollie, and drove another eighteen miles east on I-10 to exit 336 and the local Macclenny Walmart Supercenter #1205. Three bars of AT&T 4G and we were set. And Kentucky won. Another great free campsite to spend the night. I stayed up late to watch to watch the nail biter Michigan game and I am glad I did. Basically a quiet night, a few trucks idling, but all in all another great Walmart site.
