Came here after abandoning Twin Buttes Reservoir due to heavy mosquitoes there. Clean area with a few overnight semis and RVs. Loud cars and trucks racing around until about 11:00 p.m. when everything got quiet. Felt like a safe place. Walmart provided free WiFi.

It’s 12:57am and everybody has been all tucked in for hours! (Trucks and such). None of the trucks are on or anything. SO quiet. Had to give this place a good review. Super chill.

This was the most quiet Walmart parking lot we have every stayed at. We were accompanied by three other RVs including two diesel pushers. We called ahead to make sure they still allow overnight stays which they do. The only request from management is that RVs remain on the Pharmacy (Left) side of the parking lot and park as far back as possible. Parking lot was mostly level but I still used 1x block to bring up one side of my 5th wheel. Bathrooms inside the store were clean. Definitely would stay again.

There is now a big banner at the entrance saying no overnight parking and a large portion of the parking lot is closed off.

I needed a place to stay for the night during a trip to Colorado. There was some festival or rodeo happening and there was no 'drop-in' camping available at any price. All the hotels seemed booked too.
I arrived at about 5pm on a Monday afternoon. There were already a couple of class As and class Cs parked in the lot with leveling legs down and with their slides extended. I went into the store and asked at the guest services counter for permission to stay overnight in their lot. There were really nice about it and directed us to the north east corner of their lot opposite the lawn and garden section.
NOTE: don't put leveling legs down in this asphalt parking lot. One of the large diesel truck-type class-As left divots from their leveling legs. I'd had for Walmart to exclude overnight parking for this reason. The lot is very level and I had no issues getting my setup level enough for sleeping with just the attachment to my SUV.
This store is adjacent to a walking/biking trail that goes all the way west to the University of Wyoming. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance. Corona Village Andale Rapido (Mexican food) is especially good.
This was in mid-July 2021 and a heat wave was happening all over the west. Laramie is at 7200 ft and it was pleasantly cool and crisp overnight with a moderate breeze, I didn't find the air conditioning necessary at all. Oddly enough even tho it was low-50s (degrees F) at 11pm several rigs around me had their generators going and air conditioning running but they were not close enough to be a bother. I had most of the windows closed for the night, which was good to cut the noise from the lot cleaning crew which came thru at 5am. If I park here again I'll try to pick a place where the street sweeping machine cannot go all the way around my SUV/trailer combination.
One bonus, the Walmart Wifi worked great and provided enough bandwidth to stream Sling TV with no issues, even tho I was all the way across the parking lot from the store.
Prior to going to the Walmart I got potable water at the dump station Wyoming Territorial Prison State Park that has potable water. They take donations and request $10. The state park was closed (it was a Monday) and there was nobody around but I put tenner into the drop box anyway.
About that other essential liquid, this store has an especially good selection (for Walmart anyway) of adult beverages.

Convenient to the interstate, but not very quiet so it's a tradeoff. Street sweeper cleaned the parking lot at some point in the middle of the night. The parking lot lights are the brightest we've seen, looked like daytime in the middle of the night but adds to the feeling of security. We would stay here again.
