Arrived around 9:00 PM on a Saturday night, just in time to experience the truck races in the Walmart parking lot, during store hours! As we watched out the window, about 3-4 pickups raced up and down the parking lot and burned circles in the open area off to the south side. As we watched in amazement, we were even more shocked by the fact that police never showed up to shut down the race track. Either Walmart doesn’t care, or there is no police presence in Corydon. Regardless, the noise finally died down around 11:30 and the rest of the night was fairly peaceful. This is probably a good one-nighter, but not recommended on a weekend night

5 stars because not just Walmart, infuse parking lot there is also Wendy’s, Papa John’s Pizza, Taco Bell, Yamato’s JapaneseSteak house and several small specialty shops. Across street is Arby’s, Lees Famous Recipe Chicken, Beef O’Bradys Pub & Grub, Waffle House, White Castle and Waffle House. Do plenty to choose from.
Just off Hwy 64, but the Hwy is on opposite side of store, so store is between Hwy and parking lot blocking most of Hwy noise. SR135 is State Route and wasn’t too busy at all after 10:00pm.
Dan would stay here again
