Our second visit, first in 2018, here and the place has expanded and sites have gotten a bit closer together on the road side. In site 38 this time. There seems to be more four-wheelers than last time but they are very respectful about space and noise.

My husband and I stayed at Wallace RV park on September 25th.
On the phone, the receptionist seemed nice but it all changed once we arrived. I went to check in and we got talking and she decided to start telling me how horrible doctors are. I told her I was a doctor and to please stop. She didn’t and went on to say how all the doctors were lying about Covid to make millions. She went on about how we do this on purpose and how horrible we are. Needless to say, I was shocked and hurt to be talked to like that.
Unfortunately, it was late…I should have refused to stay but I didn’t. My husband and I wedged out 23’ trailer into our tiny spot. Our spot was between a road outside the park and the road inside the park. All through the afternoon and night, people rode their ATVs up and down the road. We were woken up after midnight by a drunk yelling the F word as he and his friends stumbled back to their trailer from the bar at the end of the RV park.
The park was clean, that was the one upside.
I guess if you think all healthcare workers are garbage, feel free to support this place, otherwise, find a kinder (and more quiet) place to spend the night!

We were not expecting to stay at Wallace, but found ourselves without a place to stay and high temperatures so called around for a camp with hookups. Wallace was only one to return our frantic calls and were so friendly. We were delighted with the location of this campground - within walking distance of town and next door to a restaurant and brewery. What could be better? The size of the slots! This area is a popular area for ATVs and they were parked all around the campground. Our neighbors had a couple as well as a tent that we just barely missed with our slide. The slots are tightly packed next to one another and the camp is just one road with slots on both sides. For our means, it was fine but it would have been upsetting to have no outdoor space if we had been staying longer. The campers and staff were super friendly and we loved the brewery!

The City Limits Restaurant is tops; The Fish and Chips are killer, the service is good and the prices and very reasonable for a resort town. It's the best RV Park choice for this part of Idaho. It's a bit noisy next to a forest access road and near I-90, otherwise it would be perfect.

Able to walk around retro looking downtown Wallace every day. Its grocery store had a good selection. Level sites with average spacing. RV park is located along a highway but few cars pass after dark. Owner is a very nice guy and on-site bar and grill offers take out. No TV channels and no WiFi at the site.

Tight Spaces and tight to maneuver in/out of sites, we have a 36’ A. Gravel with weeds between sites. No OTA TV signal, park is in a valley. Gravel road. Right outside a cute, Historic town near the Idaho/Montana border. Good restaurant right outside the park. Something to do is ride the Hiawatha Trail (bikes). I don’t think I would stay here again because it was so tight to maneuver.

Convenient location near I-90 and the quaint, picturesque hamlet of Wallace. The microbrewery on site has great beer and good food. The park itself is nothing to write about. Sites are very close but adequate. If you can get one that backs onto the creek, that would be preferable, but if not, roadside is “ok.” There is some road noise but the clean bathrooms and shower facilities plus the onsite microbrewery and the park’s proximity to the interstate and Wallace itself more than make up for the utilitarian sites. One more thing, I felt very safe here.

Had a nice stay in Wallace. Lots to see in this historic town, and easy highway access to explore the area. Half the sites back up to a creek. Rainy during our stay so will go back again to finish exploring the Hiawatha Trail.
