Overview of Waikoali Backcountry Campsite
Waikoali Campsite is located next to the Waiakoali Stream within the Na Pali-Kona Forest Reserve and is equipped with a trail shelter and composting toilet. Waikoali Campsite can be accessed by foot or under good weather/road conditions a 4WD vehicle via Mohihi-Camp 10 Road (Unpaved road - 4WD access only). DANGER: Do not try to access the Waikoali Campsite during stormy weather, the Waimea River and Waiakoali Stream are prone to flash flooding during heavy rain. The Waikoali Backcountry Campsite is located within a designated public hunting area, wear bright colored clothing and stay on marked trails.
