Two very distinct camping areas here. The B Loop has dirt/gravel pads which appear to be mostly level, but are showing signs of needing maintenance as grass is over-running most of the gravel. Each site has an electric pedestal and it appears a dual spigot water post is shared by every two sites. Extra water hose may be needed here if you don't want to fill your tank and use the pump. Still, nicely sized and spaced sites with several having a good view of the lake. B 20 is easily the best site here for a lake view.
The C and D loops (which is really one large loop) are all level, concrete pads with large concrete sitting areas with a shaded picnic table. Much nicer than the B Loop in my opinion. I was in C8 which backs right up to the lake and is a simply beautiful site.
The shower house - which is four separate bathrooms with a toilet, sink and shower area in each - looks newly constructed and is centrally located between the two camping areas. It is about a half mile from the C and D Loops and about a 1/4 mile from the B Loop. It appears the shower house which was located in the C and D Loop area has been demolished and been replaced with pit toilets.
The camp is not far off of US 70 and easy to get to and easy to get around in. Any size rig can be accommodated here. Each site in the C and D loop has water and electric hook-ups. There is a dump station across from the gate house at the entry. The town of Hugo is just a few miles away and has all the shopping and eating facilities one would want.

We had easy access to water for our kayaks right from our campsite. Great springtime birding.

They do not come into the camp and ask people to abide by rules. We had to ask several neighbors to leash their dogs to keep them away from our dog. A separate service comes in and cleans the bathhouse which was very nice. ATT was 2 bars bit could be spotty. Lake was gorgeous. Recap: only drawback was do nothing camp hosts.

With a Senior Pass, half price $9 for water/power hookup and a dump at the entrance. Sublimely quiet and clean with only one other camper. Level sites with Ramada, grill and table. One of the best campgrounds ever.

I stayed there last night and I was planning on staying for 14 days until I found out there was no free disbursed camping and all of the sites have water and electricity. My site had a dump station but it was too far behind the rig.

20, 30 and 50 amp. with water. No sewer at site. Asphalt and concrete pads with covered picnic tables, grill, fire ring. Wonderful view of the lake from all campsites. Vault restrooms were open and clean. I boondocked for one night with my 26ft TT and TV in the site.

Selected the concrete pads and paid a little extra, however our site was not level, it tipped away from the slope. Campground had just opened.
Very nice views over the lake. Water and electricity. Cellphone coverage is not very good, we couldn't stream over our phones at night so settled for good 'ol DVD re-runs.
Bathrooms weren't the prettiest- however they looked as though they had just finished building some new ones up the road- I didn't go in to see if they had showers.
Staff were excellent and friendly. We enjoyed it here.

Way easier to find than the kamichi park in the area.
Before my visit the park did flood and many areas were still closed. Right now there are about 15-20 open sites but at full capacity it's much much higher.
Sites right on the lake!
Great sites with water/electric and dump station.
