A few spots behind the hotel, right on the beach. A little tight for space due to the Baja 1000 coming in a week or so. Good internet, great restaurant and met some nice folks. Our dog also made a friend with one of the resident dogs. Wish now we stayed longer.

Met up with the other gringos here who had already been here for a few days already. There's not much too it, but the people running the place and there little boy were really great. They did not charge me to stay for the night. The food in the restaurant was pretty tasty and there is a corner market walking distance to stock up on cervezas and emperardor cookies. Just a parking lot outside a restaurant and small hotel, but its right on the beach and there is a really nice outdoor seating area that makes for a great office. Wifi worked good enough for me. Telcel service was good as well, LTE.

A small parking lot behind a hotel and restaurant, full of foreigners who've found this little town and who knows how? A small parking lot behind a hotel and restaurant, full of foreigners who've found this little town and who knows how? It's not anything you'd think of as a big destination for people who came from the Netherlands, Australia, the UK, Canada and the US. There's not a ton to the town, whale watching is probably the biggest draw, or a boat trip to a secluded island. Low tide goes WAY out...a quarter mile maybe, and if you walk out during that time there are a plethora of clams to snatch, some larger than softballs.
The palapa / outdoor seating for the restaurant made a great place to work, and the owner allowed us to use his plug (15amp) to keep our fridge running while our solar was on the fritz. It's a packed in little place but if you're chatty, you'll likely make some new friends and those may include the owner (who had his ex-wife bake a cake for our son's birthday, a nice extra touch!)

You can go for whale or fishing tours right from this beach. In fact, you can expect some traffic each morning/evening because of those tours. The road isn't far away so you do get that noise, but it is not heavily traveled.
