As others have mentioned this is a very nicely maintained park. Yes, the sites are closer together than we usually prefer; but the access to the water and beach makes it bearable. Hosts keep all the sites in tip top shape. We have a kayak and did find a place to put in right from the campground as opposed to having to drive down to the boat...

Decent little campground right on the River. Gravel sites, not too level, water & electric at our site. We needed a 1 night stopover on our way home from FL. Called ahead and we're assigned site 43. The park office closes at 4 (at least in April), and we were arriving at 5:30, but we were told there'd be a packet of info for us at the office...

Very very badly rutted. Several apparently long term campers. Some areas of large item trash. Still, beautiful scenery. Will return if passing thru the area again and no other options.

I was not impressed. I left and went to Chase Fishing Lake instead. There was at least one camper that appears to be permanent. Sites are very close together. Each 2 sites share one power pole so only one RV gets 30 amp. The other only has 20 amp. Same with water. The surrounding area wasn’t visually pleasing. I’ve stayed in many small towns...

Strong 2 star Verizon. Lots of space and usually trees and bushes between. Every site has lake fishing access. Can be dusty I high winds.
