Arrived the day before a big rig caravan was coming in. We were experiencing a trailer malfunction and instead of turning us away, the mgr walked the park with us and was able to squeeze us into a non-spot. She called a relative that came right over and assessed the trailer problem. He had to drive back to Mexicali for parts and returned to make the repair on-site . Stayed 4 days. Washrooms clean. Park was very busy with the caravan but we still loved it here.

This was our first visit to San Felipe. Our plan was to figure out the best place to go and explore the area. We were told it would be fine. We wanted 50 amp, but that was $50 a night. We were very, very cramped. There really isn't much room for a couple 40' motorhomes. We were placed on the back row. Could not see the water through the buildings and a few smaller rigs. The front row sites all had palapas that weren't really set up for large RV's, or even much room for slide outs. We knew going in that we weren't on the water, but thought we might at least have a view. The other issue was the big ATV dune behind the property. NOISE! Their wifi worked pretty well, though, all things considered. It was within walking distance of the malecon, maybe 4 blocks. Depends on what you are looking for. We will stay at a place with water front spots for us next time!

Our friends had 50A. There are a variety of site types. We enjoyed the beach bar and beach. You can walk to town, which we did in the beach. Non beachfront spots are $30/nt for 2 people, and $5 more per night per person extra. There is a weekly discount. There is WiFi but it’s very spotty. We made reservations via Facebook and sent a deposit through Venmo to secure our spot. There are sand dunes right behind the park where locals play often and it can get loud with the motors, but it didn’t bother us. Our site was rustic but charming, as we had some plants around it. For the most park the park is a dirt parking lot. We would come again!

Highlight: fish tacos and margs made and served by victor and Victoria, the kids who will no doubt take over the family biz.

Head out on easter for a real Mexican holiday experience or many other quiet times of the year for solitude. The beach is great and they now have cabanas and houses on site to rent.

We stayed here for 9 nights as part of an Xscapers caravan. This was our first Mexican RV Park, and we didn't quite know what to expect, but it exceeded our expectations. I was concerned about our 41-foot motorhome fitting, but we had no trouble (the back row in the RV park has very long sites with reasonable spacing and patios) and there was a 45-foot rig a few sites down. The site was sloped down in the back so we needed some wood blocks under our rear tires. I was also concerned about electrical power (the sites have 30-amp hookups), but our voltage stayed steady at 120V the entire time, even with a full campground and lots of power usage. The sites are certainly not spacious, but we've stayed in plenty of KOAs and other parks in the US with smaller sites. The RV Park is on a beautiful beach, they have a cafe that serves delicious quesadillas, and it's a short walk into the main part of town. Our AT&T data plan includes roaming in Mexico, and it worked quite well at Victor's. There are sand dunes and trees across the street which were handy for dog walks (as was the beach). We'd definitely like to return.

We really enjoyed our stay here. I've been wanting to RV in Baja for a long time but my wife was a little reluctant so I proposed San Felipe as a safe compromise. It's an easy drive here from El Centro, CA. The town has seen better days as evidenced from the abandoned condo projects and shuttered businesses but still has it charms. Awesome inexpensive food and drinks. A lively malecon to stroll on and people watch. Sand and sea. Warm and friendly people.
Victor's is an older park as are most in the area as new development is happening on the other side of the sea in Puerto Penasco. We scored an ocean front spot next to our friends. The hookups are little on the sketchy side but we didn't have any problems. The spot itself was not built for class A RVs with slides so we ended up parking perpendicular in front of it.
Positives :
-Beachfront with nice shaded structures
-Awesome friendly people running the park including Lilly Victor's wife who is extremely helpful and accommodating
-Good free wifi
-Close to town but not too close when things get busy
-Great Telcel reception we used roaming on Verizon and our friends on T-Mobile
Negatives:
-Limited number of beachfront spots
-Older electrical and sewer connections
-Narrow spots
All in all a great experience and we would definitely come back.
