A great place to dry camp off Hwy 90... Plenty of space.
Friendly people in town at Roy Bean Museum & Visitor Center & Postoffice.
No gas station & no stores...
Just put $5 in the "can" and find a spot... Very cool.
John & Mary would stay here again

If you need a place just to rest for a night, this is great. Be aware there is no gas station and everything buttons up for the evening fairly early.

Dry camping at it's best. Level parking lot. Very quiet except for a train at 0600. But the tracks are far enough away it is not bad at all. And the Judge Roy Bean visitors center is a short walk away. He was a real character in a state full of characters. Slow down and take a break here. You won't regret it.

Walk south to the end of Torres, take a left and follow the dit road to the loop, read the state historic plaques as you go. Interesting local history puts you at the end of the road, looking across the river at Mexico. Tough to get closer! There is a post office on the corner. Rugged, beautiful country all around you.

Lovely place to stay, nice and flat with great views to the south and canyon walls, very quiet. We are 62ft. Long in motor home and trailer there’s plenty of room, a block from Judge Roy Beans museum. All they ask is a $5.00 donation

We didn't end up staying here. Decided to use a rest area further down the road. One of the locals stopped by seemed very friendly but let us know his political views. He offered his southern hospitality to come to his home. Kind of weird. There is a really good museum in town. The girl working there said there were 11 residents in town. Four were gone. She didn't know who the guy was we talked to -so just an fyi. With a great view at a rest area 18 miles further, I doubt we would stay here. Neighbor had 3 dogs. They did bark when they saw us.

This is a community owned area, the $5 fee goes towards the electric bill and water bill for the community center. This lot is quiet, people in the area are friendly and there is plenty to explore within easy walking distance.
