Easy check in , level sites. Not crowded, restrooms clean but old. Showers hot but low water pressure. 3 shower stalls in ladies area but one had no water and the other had really poor pressure. The third was just ok. Very quiet. Cafe on site but prices kinda $$$$
Wifi present but we were parked too far back to use it

We ordered breakfast as soon as they opened (7:30am) which was delicious and set us up perfectly for our day of travel. We'll definitely stay here again.

Very little to say, really. We arrived when they were closed in the early afternoon (the sign said "back at 3"), during a terrible windstorm. Our paperwork was on the door, and we found our level spot pretty easily. We stayed indoors the rest of the day (the wind was that bad) and left the next morning. The park was a big gravel lot with full hookups. There is a cafe (not sure if it was open or not), and some other amenities which we didn't use. It is a quiet location, far enough from the highway to not get traffic noise. Slow WiFi.

Agree with previous review! Just want to add we did have dinner in the cafe, food was good for a camp cafe and they did have cold beer and wine. Also we were able to stay hooked up with our 40ft fifth wheel and f350 dually. Which is always a bonus when you’re just overnighting!

We could hear a train in the distance occasionally but I personally like train sounds. Lady at the desk was very nice. They have a small store and even a cafe for breakfast and evening dinners. I didn't eat there but prices looked good. I think the rate was $40 but with Good Sam or Veteran or Military there was a 10% reduction. They do have a $3 fee if you use a card in lieu of cash.

Great night's sleep!
Got here late, easy check-in, easy to find the correct site, the site was level and clean. Did not check out all the amenities we are staying the night passing through. No truck noise, no road noise Just a quiet night's sleep. Easy RV hookups. Would positively stay here again on our next trip West.

This is a very nice park far enough off the I10 to be very quiet. Spent New Years eve here, pretty cold at night (21 F). Park is well run, the sites are nice and wide pull-throughs, making for easy setup. Great spot to overnight for sure. People are friendly.

Camped here on my way to Big Bend National Park. Eve was just fine. Quiet location and very level spot to park on. Still a good distance to the National park. Internet service was just fine. Very nice hosts. I’d come here again.

We stopped here for one night and the facilities are amazing. The park is huge with every kind of site you might want. Everything was clean and each site had some pretty great fire pits. Unfortunately, it poured rain all night. The rain could have been the reason the internet was slow if everyone else was using it. While the signal appeared strong, the service itself lagged and we stopped trying to use it. We would definitely come back, given the quality of the sites, the access to the trail and activities -- but for the price, I hope they improve their internet.
