Not a bad place, decent for a one night stopover. Staff is super helpful and nice, let us move to larger spot so we didn’t have to unhook our pickup. When arriving, don’t follow your gps, go to the large sign that marks the entrance. Also, if you are a runner, there’s nice flat, straight road just to the east of the park; run to the be... more

Was skeptical because there seem to be 1/2 permanent residents but the peak was very quiet & clean. It is by a train track but there were no trains running at night. Vale Trails is a small RV park near the Oregon/Idaho border. The ladies at the office are extremely nice and helpful, pull-through sites are level and clean with grass and trees planted in between. This was a quick stopover for us on our way to Bend, and I'd stay here again if we were passing through. There are train tracks running ... more
