“Small and quiet camp”

Its mostly for tenters as there are no hookups. There are good showers though. Most sites are pretty good and you could fit a small rv. I don't recommend 1 and 2 as you have to position your camper on the road and on a hill most of the other sites work better. There are some nice trails, waterfalls at the right time of year and you can hear the creek adjacent to camp. Very nice overall. Oh, and don’t forget to explore all the wineries nearby.

Lastly, road going in is very windy and bumpy. Go slow.

We arrived at dusk and were unsure whether it would be open as the website says the park closes at dusk but doesn't specify a time. Fortunately there was a machine where we could buy our camping pass and the gates were open (park wardens checked our pass in the morning).
We stayed in a tent so the windy road wasn't such an issue with our 4wd and there was one RV in the camp but I would imagine the 5 mile into the park would be slow going in an RV due to the windy road and low hanging trees.
It was totally worth the drive off the beaten path, there were only 3 others camping, the facilities were great (showers + flush toilets) and each campsite has a fire pit and picnic table and are nested under trees with lots of wildlife around and a nearby stream providing a serene setting.

“Never Again”

Apparently you need a reservation to stay here. And you don’t know you need one til you’re out of network service and a 45 minutes from nowhere. Approach road is sketchy and there’s a smug little community right before the park that sure does a good job making you feel unwelcome. Avoid this place.

From the booking website : "Due to the design of public access roads and the space constraints of internal park roads there is a 12 foot maximum for all RVs and trailers" However, we didn't realize, and the ranger allowed us to camp. However, it's at the rangers discretion. Also, many sites can not accommodate a trailer.
