Just pulled in here and there’s a fence around the dump station with a “closed” sign. Not sure if it’s permanent.

Gorgeous stargazing. Plenty of sites to choose from. Neighbors down the way had generators running into the night. Overall nice spot, watch out for the prickly weeds on the ground! We had a picnic table and fire ring.

"Beat the heat"
Nice and cool at high elevation. Lake was too cold to get in. Be sure to pay the boat launch fee. A little rowdy into the night, but didn’t bother us too much. Lots of sites to choose from, none with direct access to the lake. Lots of dead trees...

Not much shade, a little expensive, but well maintained. Close to the lake, dirt road into the area was washboarded.
