We chose to stay here because of the proximity to a wedding we were attending in north Portland. Staff were super friendly and accommodating - even responding immediately to see why I couldn’t get the water to work. NOTE: there are 2 water...
We booked a standard site for $35/night but when we arrived we decided to splurge for FHU’s... costing an extra $25/night. For $60/night this is just OK. We were here visiting a friend who lives up the road in Encinitas - we aren’t surfers so...
Watching floatplanes, eagles, water taxis, and seals never gets old! Staff was super welcoming and friendly, they keep this place in tip-top shape. We used the (free & hot) showers daily and were impressed at how clean they are.

Great afternoon sun and decent (not too close)...
Lovely little 1 night spot on our way through town. Nice walking/bike path around the area. Cute little beach with sights, sounds, and smells of a typical ocean beach town. Seemed there was good access to all that downtown Crescent City has to...

• semi-private spots with enough greenery between to give you a sense of privacy
• quiet enough to hear the waves at night
$46 Canadian for no hook-ups BUT there is a sani-dump and plenty of places (they call them “sinks”) to fill your fresh water tank. We were offered a no-hookups site because that’s all they had left in the VERY busy month of August (we came out...
Proprietor, Glen, was very friendly and welcoming... he did not want us to go. This is likely the most reasonably priced ($26/night) dry camping in the area. For comparison: Ucluelet Campground, much closer to town and with hot/free showers &...

Well, to be honest, you can drink the water but only after boiling it for one minute. We happened to be on Salt Spring Island for a few days and ended up needing to do a couple loads of laundry; we discovered there are NO laundromats anywhere on...
This is DRY CAMPING, NO HOOKUPS, and extremely limited to ZERO direct sunlight; technically there is no trash/recycling either. Park Ranger said they removed the garbage/recycling facilities from the RV area because RV’ers “are expected to pack it...
