Stay during the start of the season. I was here as part of an event, I was able to camp on the ground just outside the event use area. The folk were easy to work with and friendly.

It is a normal walmart parking lot, meaning you see it all here. Few car with folks sleeping in them and your normal trucks. Did find a good Mexican dinner in the strip mall be walmart. The parking lot can be unlevel in area.

This ia a great camp not far from Chicago, there is hiking and biking trails. All your small water activities. Rv sites above 201 are spacious.
