We were looking for an overnight in the area, and were in time to get a none reserved site on a Saturday. Most of the sites slope from the road to the back of the site. Most rigs had several blocks in back to level.
There are two campgrounds here, a site at Catawba River with 20 tent only sites. There’s a parking lot, and you carry your camp down the hill to sites right on the lake. The toilet and shower facility is roomy, and seems to be well maintained....

Water at the site (and an adjacent one) was quite murky - it looked more like tea than water - so we stayed with our own fresh...

This was the only reservable campground in the Natchez Trace Park on the day we were passing through, and we are one of five campers in the 60+ sites here.
Our site (45) is quite level, as I would guess are about half the sites we looked at....
