The road all the way to the campground is completely paved. There’s a small booth to pay camping fees, which vary based on RV or tent camping. The RV spots were full when we arrived but they let us camp in our van in tent camping.
The lake appeals almost entirely to fishers, since there’s no swimming. We did see an alligator in the water when we first arrived, so I can see why!
The road is paved the whole way, and there’s level parking. Each lot has water, a garbage...
The road leading to the campground is wide and pretty well kept, but it has some rough washboards. The camp spot was clean, but there were a lot of other campers there. Everyone was quiet and respectful, but I would have enjoyed more privacy....
Mostly tents but our camper van made it just fine. Definitely no RVs though. There was no camp host or really anyone there.
