"Very primitive campground right on the water...with beautiful views"

Found a lovely camp site right on the water, but the first night the strong April winds nearly took the tent to the other side of the campground, so moved to a more sheltered site. Many fire ants so beware...especially under the cow patties.... Read more

"Lovely place to camp"

Very clean campground. Maintained nicely. Water on most of the sites, tables, and shaded. Guess you can hike along the lake, to the "Unfinished Castle" but hear there are a few steep cliffs to be careful about. I plan on doing that trail... Read more

"Need reservations AND r.v. or tent. No car camping. :("

Got here and couldn't stay...didn't have a reservation or a tent. Looks like a lovely place though. Oh...and lots or road construction to get through on the 1st of March 2018
