We found this spot right before the West Fork campground. It was perfect and flat. There are also dispersed sites past the campground but they are for much smaller rigs. There’s two nice sites by the river too if you get lucky!

Stopped for one night on our way to Houston. We were the only ones here and it’s far enough away from the freeway that you can’t hear it. Very secluded. The only negative is that there are so many moths! We spent an hour or more getting rid of them!

We stopped for the night on our way home from San Diego. Free is good and it’s not too far north of I8. The road off the highway is full of potholes. It’s nothing much. No great view but cell service is excellent and she people seem friendly.
