Great sites. Super clean modern restrooms. Good trail system. And the town of Bastrop is small but very cute. Good spot if you are traveling through TX.
We liked this park more than we expected. Good sized ‘yard’. Staff was super friendly. We enjoyed hiking the power line trail at the campground, exploring Chattanooga, and yes we went to the tourist trap that is Ruby Falls. Cool to see but sooooo...
Modern RV ‘resort’ with little privacy but great water access, beautiful sunrises and private and super clean restrooms and laundry.
We visited on the cusp of winter so the weather was iffy and it was quiet but I bet this place is excellent in...
This is a fancy RV park. Big park with all kinds of amenities.
It does have the price tag to match but this park is clean, modern, huge site -but very little privacy almost no trees.
This park has some of my favorite restrooms ever. Trails to...
I love this park. You can get a site with waterfront view and a private wood deck. The sunsets are pretty spectacular.
It is really in the middle of nowhere so we only stayed a weekend late fall as we traveled from TX to AR.
There are good...

The biggest pros; ocean, sunrises, uncrowded, great beach dog walks
The biggest cons; the sand spurs are out of...
We stayed for total of 2 1/2 weeks at the end of our stay some mean person stole my expensive road bicycle
Clipped off the chain and stole it!
KOA expressed little concern but a sorry.
And I filled out an incident report....

The common bathrooms are decent.a bit dated but clean. There’s a game room and playground. Small fences do area.
I would say the only negative about this park is that you are pretty far away from both Santa Fe and Albuquerque about a 45 minute drive.
But you are very close to the tent rocks and that is a surprisingly great little national park to...
