For what we were after… access to Seaside and the beach, this park was a good fit.
The hidden gem is the beach access in Gearhart vs Seaside. We were able to spend the good part of a day down at the beach with great weather in mid-July.

Not much around this camp… small beach across the highway. The weather was not the best in Mid-July… marine layer sticking in the coastline much of the time we were here. Located between Waldport and Newport… not much else between.
Great location… just a short hike to the beach!
We had a day that we were able to relax on the semi-private beach.

We stayed here for its proximity to Jackson, Grand Tetons NP and Yellowstone NP without having to deal with camping inside the NPs and still stay fairly close to our next stop in W Montana.
The park is one small loop. The sites are spacious and...
