The best state park campground in South Dakota. Quiet and relaxing. Lots of space between sites. RV pads are paved and for the most part level. They only have electrical connections. There are several water fill up locations around the campground....

Very dirt and unkept. Planned on staying multiple night but after 1 we left and will not return. Very few options for quality RV campgrounds in Pierre.. very disappointed in the overall location and lack of RV options.

Great Lake side campground. It has a wonderful hiking trail along the lake Many of the sites are fairly tight. Try to stay in Loop E as that one is the closest to the lake and has the best views and access to hikes.
