"$35 For Dry Camping "

Best decision we made was staying here to explore San Felipe with our big rig. Are there cheaper places we probably could have squeezed in? I’m sure…but you’re paying for the security and peace of mind here. At night employees drive around... Read more

"Big Rig Friendly, Checked All Our Boxes "

Drove down from San Felipe in our 42 ft fifth wheel, no problemo. First you stop at the rancho grande supermarket to pay (400 pesos/night). Parking lot is huge. There you get a piece of paper, which you allows you access to the beach and palapas.... Read more

Yikes! The previous reviewer was spot on about the strange animosity the older gentleman has towards using their free potable water. We filled up a few of our jugs and he began bad mouthing us to the paying customers saying we were just here to... Read more

We arrived at 10am on a Sunday after the balloon festival which was our first mistake. There’s only one potable water station near the dump station and after waiting 45 minutes and dumping it was finally our turn in line for the potable water…at... Read more

Looks like a great option for big rigs but as of 10/6/22 there’s a gate with a sign that it is closed!

Checks all the boxes except cell service. Phones show 2-4 bars of 5G but speed tests can’t even measure one mbps up or down. Even with WeBoost tower up. Unfortunately couldn’t stay longer for this reason but if cell service is a non issue it’s... Read more

"It’s free and it’s loud!"

Really hard to complain about a place kind enough to let you stay for free on a level lot with good service…but. It was the loudest parking lot we’ve ever stayed at. A bit of sensory overload if you’re heading back down from the Yukon. We checked... Read more

"Best Eagle sightings "

This was a great stop for a couple nights on our way to Homer. We are winding down on two months in Alaska and our best eagle sightings were here. It was easily accessible and had several big rig friendly sites. Strong ATT. $20/night at pay... Read more

"Deep water"

Beautiful site right off the highway, however, as of 7/24/22 water crossing is about 1 ft deep so with a big rig we passed on this one. Did not want to risk getting stuck in the mud.
