The gravel lot is level and there are bathrooms. The town is quiet, the only noise was the trains but you’ll hear them ANYWHERE you stop on US2. The park is very clean with beautiful gardens. We were the only ones here for the night.

"Free Dump Station"

The dump station is behind the building. Don’t go in on the car wash side toward McDonald’s. We called ahead to make sure it was still there and free. There is not water there, neither potable or wash water.

"Nice Overnight."

I checked with the manager. Ok to overnight. He asked that we stay near the side of the parking lot. The store is about 3 miles off of I70 and very easy to get to. It was very quiet.

"Great Overnight Spot"

We were eager to get out of the wind on I40 so pulled in here. It was easy to find and clearly marked ok for overnighting. Flush toilets were clean and a dumpster on site. Watch the goat heads though. They were brutal.
