"Nice place to stop"

$5 with access pass. Clean bathrooms with shower. Directions have you turn west to the state park. You should turn east to get to riverside park. I uploaded a map photo.

"Friendly and convenient "

Ran by a group of veteran brothers. Everything is ship shape. The extremely clean and hot showers are worth the price of admission. $27 with military discount.

"Might be open"

Everyone said this was closed but when I came by the gate was open so I went in. The area has plenty of signs warning about not getting near the water. The drive in was easy and there was plenty of room to camp.

"Nice desert camping "

Read Carrie’s post about how to get here. The road in must have been recently graded. We didn’t encounter any large rocks or ruts. It is narrow and you will rub some brush.

"Right off I35"

There was 5” of snow on the ground and more coming. The campground had been plowed and half a dozen of the sites also. Water was off but still had electricity.
