"Huge beach area all too Ourselves!!! "

Beautiful red sandy beach area. Fire pit and table. Vault toilet. Zero people here but it is mid October. Lake is very low but what a view.

"Beautiful Campground!"

Gallup and grants are is about a perfect half way Point for us but we just keep going as this area is ummm, not so nice. We found this amazing jem just 5 miles off I40 and a great road. What a score! Clean and quiet with huge sites.

Stayed here before but it rained the whole time so didn’t get to enjoy all the great activities. 12 miles off trail to walk and 8 miles off biking and lots of water stuff, hot showers, and good cell service. Glad we came back and definitely coming... Read more

Heard some good reviews so checked it out. Campgrounds are open but everything in the marina is dilapidated and debris everywhere. We did not stay.

I’m revising my review after a massive bug infestation after dusk.We spent the night smacking them and used bug spray and citronella candles and now out walls and ceiling look like there was a mass murder. We both itch and won’t be back.
