"Magical location away from the dusty roadways"

Krause Springs is a private campground that has fabulous scenery. You feel like you're driving off in to an enchanted forest. We were there out of season (Oct 2014) and were the only trailer camper there for the night which was a little eerie.... Read more

"No-frills but a good location"

The basics for the resort are there: no-frills bathroom, laundry, "dog park", rec hall, exercise room, pool, and extra parking. The staff was helpful when we arrived. The campsites are mostly pull through but are VERY crammed together. We were... Read more

4th of July at Kelly Park in Apopka Florida | Gone Glamping

For Fourth of July this year we decided to make a trip to Kelly Park just outside of Orlando. It’s a small county park with only 26 campsites. My dad and I were debating if the family had visi...

Key West in the Heat of Summer 2015 | Gone Glamping

We’ve discussed planning a trip to the Florida Keys multiple times and each time, to my dismay, the State Parks are always booked. When friends made the executive decision to go to Key West we...
