"Great spot with river access and hiking"

Lovely campground with many pitches along the river. Can take the River View Trail from the Day use area and connect to the forest service Nature Trail for about a 4 mile hike. Water and electric at the pitches but no dump station.

Campground is service-able and met our needs while visiting friends in the area. The good part is it is quiet and sits about a mile from I-5. The other park in San Onofre sits right next to I-5 (also right next to the ocean...) No Verizon... Read more
