"Very well maintained park"

We stayed at this location to be near Little Bighorn Battlefield. Very nice park and very well maintained. All RV sites are pull through and can accommodate large rigs. Sites spilt between full hookup and water/electric only, no dump station.... Read more

"Good location to visit Apostle Islands and Bayfield "

Found the campground a little tight with a couple of steep hills; most rigs spun out going up. Most of the sites were narrow and un-level. Site 28, sloped a lot and was mostly sand, we had to put our truck in 4wd to park and leave. You can get... Read more

"Lakeside camping in the trees"

Popular Michigan State Park. Easy check-in, reserved online 6 months prior. Family friendly with playground, beach, water playground, boat ramp, dock, kayak and SUP rentals, snack bar. Large sites, but no spacing/privacy. All sized rigs and tents... Read more

"Our first Colorado State Park"

Sites are electric only; thought we could fill our fresh water tank at the dump station, but there was no potable water there. There were water pumps located throughout the campground and we used our 6 gallon water jugs to fill our fresh water... Read more

"Didn't want to leave"

We LOVE this place!! Typical National Park campground; dry camping only, no hookups. Sites are small, geared more toward tent camping. I think we snagged the only available site that could accommodate our 30' Airstream. Lots of Juniper Trees, thus... Read more

"Bugs were bad"

This is a BLM campground on the edge of a lava flow; very scenic! The bugs were so bad that we could not spend a lot of time outside despite camping on the edge of the ridge with a constant breeze. Water and electric hook ups. All sites were very... Read more

"Free overnight stay"

We stayed here overnight on our way to New Mexico. This is a free water and electric site in a county park, next to a golf course. We could not get our electric to work (50 or 30amp) and we never hooked up to water. There was a 60th birthday party... Read more

"Metal Bison herd"

Just stayed here overnight on way to west Texas, but really enjoyed the area. Camped in the South Side camping area, water and electric only, with covered picnic table. Flat area up on a ridge, which turned out to be a good choice a we experienced... Read more

"Lake front sites"

Stayed in a site with access to the lake so that we could do some kayaking. We were able to kayak across the lake to the other park, Jim Hogg. Very busy on weekends, and we saw a lot of traffic through our site as it was the only place to access... Read more
