We will return, the campground is great. Plenty to do in the area, the beaches are very clean. Alabama state parks are pricier than most, but it wouldn't deter us. Lots of trails. Lots of smiling people, it's busy but not loud.

Found this place after a long drive from Kansas. Sites are spaced out well & roomy, rates are good. Not too far off I-72, quiet. Water pressure fine, good cell coverage.

Loved our stay. Campsites spaced out real well, quiet, scenic & peaceful. A little over an hour to Santa Fe & Taos. Good hikes nearby as well. I don't know if we will ever be back this way, but if so, this is the place to be.

Nice CG in the heart of Capitol Reef country. Sites are close together, there's road noise, but no worries. We slept well, keeping active sightseeing & hiking. Showers are very clean, grounds in great shape, neighbors were quiet.
