There is nothing appealing about this campground
This is a great little campground on the way to the summit of the Steens . Around 8000 foot elevation
Beware! Mountain lions frequent the area and a nylon tent isn't much protection against a cougar
Site 11 was great on one side - open to the adjoining site on the other . Garbage was overflowing . Road noise from the highway
Nice little campground - upper level if you have more than one car and a trailer.
Verizon is between 1&2 bars . Watch for Poison oak - it's everywhere
The sites , although not completely private , are well laid out and table and fire rings are well placed and convenient . The path to middle falls starts at site 31 . Vault toilets are clean and odorless .
When I bought my first travel trailer - I vowed NEVER to go to a "R V park" - That was before I went to Bullards Beach Campground. It is one of the best I've ever been at. Room for kids to play, private sites, convenient to Bandon.
"Fabulous little campground at 8000 feet "
"Nice but a little cramped "
"Small and a little cramped"
"One of the best - ever!"
"Great little campground "
