"Peaceful, scenic, quiet"

Stopped here as an alternative to Hilgard Junction. Much quieter and more scenic, and only ten or fifteen minutes down the road. One other camper on a Sunday night; the host had already vacated. Lots of space, peace, and quiet. One noise was... Read more

"Convenient and scenic"

Stayed one night passing through. Very scenic park tucked between 1-84 and Grand Ronde River. Freeway noise is pretty loud. Was able to easily maneuver 30 foot travel trailer into a site in the back. For ten bucks this is a great stopover site.

"Clean And Spacious"

Good stopover or base camp in the Tri-Cities. Only decent RV park that is close to Kennewick shopping and amenities. Bad WiFi but they are in the process of upgrading.

"Good stopover if hookups are needed"

For us this was an overnight stop on our way from Washington state to the central California coast. Site 16 was large, grass covered, and easy to back our 30-foot long trailer into. As we were only staying the night, we hooked up to the 30 amp... Read more

"Old growth on the Wind River"

We stayed here over Fourth of July weekend in 2020. The campground was nearly full but the sites are spaced out well so the atmosphere is fairly quiet. There are no hookups, same as all of the campgrounds on the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. ... Read more

"Hookups in the northern Blues"

This is a former KOA turned into a private non franchise campground. It located along the road to the Wooten Wildlife Area and the Umatilla National Forest. So this is the only thing going for camping with hookups in this area; many other dry... Read more

I had huge apprehensions about staying here after I received a call from the front desk a week before our trip down to Pismo Beach from Washington state. The woman informed me that they were canceling our reservation because our trailer would not... Read more

"Quiet place in the forest"

We come here every year to pick huckleberries in the nearby Sawtooth Berry Fields. This campground is located right on Forest Road 88 leading into the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Price listed above is for a power and water site. There are... Read more
