Came to experience the grass plains, love it. Nicely maintained picnic area. Vault toilets clean and well stocked with TP. Pretty flat, just used a couple Links blocks to get perfectly level. No road noise, planes or trains, just peaceful & quite.

Great dry camping location. Level paved campsites, vault toilets and trash bins. Right by a scenic lookout. I was the only camper one night, two others the 2nd night.

Much better than a Walmart or similar parking lot. Quiet, convenient distance off the highway, far enough that there is no road noise.

Beautiful scenery, quiet, paved access, level site, clean vault toilets. The only negative is they lock the front gate at 8:00pm. I wanted to do some night photography at White Sands but couldn't because of the curfew.

I will definitely stay here again. Sites are well spaced out and the area is beautiful. The ranger checked in on me just to make sure I knew about the 14 day stay limit, and to make sure everything was okay, he was a nice guy.
