Anything to do with waste water is out of commission. My understanding is that they hope to have repairs completed by November sometime.

"Colorado State Parks are getting pricey!"

So this is a nice campground. Has showers, laundry, electric and water and some full. But no wifi. But it totals out to $50+ a night with the daily park pass. That's more than a lot of private campgrounds and with more amenities.

"Hot in July"

"Quiet and interesting"

You have to walk the interpretive 1 mile trail to fully appreciate this place. You can see the Milky Way on a clear night here.

"Nice overnight"

Not much to see here, corn. Well maintained and clean. 20 for electric 20,30,50 amp. 25 for water and sewer. Has a playground and a fishing hole.

"Nice spot on the Mississippi "

Careful of Google maps directions here. It sends you down a narrow residential road that turns to gravel and dirt DON'T GO THERE. Follow the signs! Quiet, reasonably level, most are pull throughs. Little dirty but not terrible.

"Hard to find"

It is there on 11th street. It's on the left hand side of road passed the last warehouse with a fenced yard. No water and the drain is under the rectangular steel cover in the cemented square.

"We are regulars here"

We use this campground regularly during the spring and fall. It's clean and quiet. No cell service though. we drive out turn right then left and park by big metal building to get our internet business done.
