Ok, nice showers and bath. But 3 stars cause 8ts a typical tourist trap campground. Small sites, overcrowded and way overpriced.

Not many sites and only a couple open at noon on a Monday. Have the creek and the backdrop, otherwise nothing 5o write home about. OK, it's free, so there's that.

Came in 8/7 and stayed 7 nights. Two loops. Front and back. The back lots get filled up by evening. Can always find a spot in the front. Awning helps to provide some shade. Nice views from the top.

Stayed at the spot Larry P posted. Came here 7/10 and stayed 14 days. Don't come up via Denver street in Deadwood. I made that mistake. Definitely come the way from The Lodge of Deadwood. Plenty of things to do and go. Loved it here.

Nice sites close to the water. Picnic table, fire ring and pit cement pit toilets which are clean. They also provided a load of firewood. I was in the first loop, and there isn't much shade. So beware of that to have something on hand. Gets noisy... Read more
